Mercury Retrograde Spread- Blended Spread


I found this Mercury Retrograde spread and I thought it would be interesting to try, esp blended with the various decks since they each have their strengths and voices. I added in a root card to show "why /how this is being affected?" This was a good perspective exercise. I think I'll be adding it to a regular rotation every retrograde.

1. How will my communications be affected? High Priestess
This is the deep desire to connect with your unconscious and embodies the part of you that lies in dreams bringing dark insights. You are turning to creative forces of unconsciousness.

2. How can I fix this? Tower
Allowing what needs to be broken to be broken. Not being mad at myself for any dyslexic moments, etc. If people want to discontinue speaking to me because of it then fine. 

3. How can I flow with this? The Empress
I have all I need in my earthly means to handle it, just remain grounded. 

root: Why/How my communication will be affected? The Magician
My communication is affected because I get frazzled from too many projects/directions. I may need to focus down to one until retrograde is over.

4. How will my travel be affected? Sled 7
It seems that all will go well. Sled shows an Inuit sled dog hunter. 

5. How can I fix this? 6 of Vessels Contentment (R) 
Warns not to let my emotions get the better of my head so I don't get in trouble.

6. How can I flow with this? Corn Maiden 2
She is the vestigial virgin. So perhaps this is just reminding me to flow my remaining my pure self... minus the road rage (above). 

root: How/Why my travel is being affected? Medicine Woman 3
It seems when my travel gets affected, it is because of my health.

7. How will my electronics/data/devices be affected? Projection
Problems I perceive with my devices is a projection. Yes we have the typical problems with the tech, but thinking they are worse will be my own mind/patience with it. 

8. How can I fix this? Memory
Remember to calm down and how to fix things instead of reacting out of emotion. 

9. How can I flow with this? Desire
I can flow by having the desire to flow. 

root: How/Why my electronics are being affected? Harmony
The electronics are affected simply by a disharmonious affect, things are not as balanced as they were last week.

This is to put together my questions and thoughts about creating my oracle deck. If you have been given this link, please provide your insights where I linked thank you. Background Info My cards have one aspect, per deity, per card. This gave me 41 cards out of 15 deities plus a couple concept cards. Since the deities have multiple descriptions, I used different appearances per aspect. These will be meant to speak to the deities, place on the altar during rituals to focus on, meditate upon, and other ritual uses. Examples of Automatic Art

Here are some examples of my automatic art. I realized that my description in the previous blog was a bit sparse. These are oracle style automatic drawings based on tarot readings. Obviously I don't do this for standard tarot rates as it takes much longer. Quick overview of my process for these ones: 1. Pull the card(s) for the question. 2. I will go through the known meaning for what pops out at me and jot it down. 3. I sit in trance gazing at the card until images hit me. 4. I start to sketch. 5. I add in another layer of interpretation to the meaning based upon the image that results. Turn around time 6-24 hrs depending upon the number of cards and level of detail.

Full Moon in Sag (Jun 9th)- Giger v Sumerian v Vibrational

I've been a little busy this month so I did not get a chance to sit down and decode these in a timely manner. My other half found his Vibrational Medicine Cards and lent them to me. I'm starting to work with them as well as the others.  Giger  1. What impulses need taming?
