FM Aquarius- Native
This spread seemed interesting. I decided to give it a quick run with one of the decks (there were 3 diff spreads this month for the FM so wasn't going to run the gauntlet for all of them! haha)
Native Deck
1. What part of myself have I been holding back? 8 of Shields- Sand painter
Sand paintings were done by the medicine man, often with helpers, through out the day and left to blow away with the wind. Intricate designs, left to be given to the wind, impermanence. (omgs do I have a problem with the concept of this). The essence of the sand painter is luck through spiritual and artistic pursuits, but one must remain in balance with nature.
//developing theme here of balance with nature, art, and spirituality for fixing myself.
2. What assumption or social norm is getting in my way? Chief of Pipes (R)
He tries to win, but fails so holds contempt for the world. This causes him to be withdrawn, petty, unsocial, mean.
3. What new attitude will propel me bravely forward? Warrior of Vessels (R)
His superficiality can make it impossible to reach his innocence and sensuousness, as it is said "his name is writ in water." Lack of character causes affairs to be mismanaged, his whole career will be failure. Schizophrenia and melancholy will signal the final catastrophe.
4. How can I begin to express myself more fully? 10 of Vessels- Happy Family
Take care of the home first, the rest will follow.
