March Full Moon Reading- Sumerian vs Giger
This is March's full moon spread. Yes I'm late in posting the results.
Sumerian Deck
1. What baggage am I being challenged to leave behind? Girtablullȗ (transforms consciousness via pain and pleasure)
Maybe he is saying that I should be using less painful versions of transformation or trying to fight/force myself when I'm feeling stuck.
2. How can I relieve my more critical energies this Full Moon? Mušmahhu (3rd eye vision, Serpent transfiguration)
Seeing with your Inner Eye. Transformation into a serpent to explore the mysteries of life through the Cosmos. Pure primitive, elemental energy that is connected with our Mother Goddess. Creative power and transmutation.
I've had some of my spirit allies lamenting that I haven't visited in awhile. Maybe it is time to astral travel back home to relieve some stress on the body.
3. What health and wellness area needs attention? Kusarikku (malefication and baneful magic)
This manifestation is giving access to his baneful magic for harm or fortification. Perhaps this is backing up that I needed to defend my home to help cultivate wellness.
4. What area in my life needs reorganizing? Mušuššu (death bringer)
I haven't solidified a meaning for this card yet, but perhaps it is telling me to slam down on doctors who do not care about me?
5. What needs to get done this Full Moon? Kingu (authority)
Get it done! Which I was, I had something up my rear end and nearly possessed in getting my studio put back in order over a few days then putting together a huge meal to celebrate a holiday that is based in this religion.
Giger Deck
Indicates a sudden shattering realization the shakes fixed ideals; you are unconsciously trying to go astray. If you accept that only things that have become rotten and superfluous can be destroyed, then you can recognize the liberation from things that have become old. Through loss and pain you can create space for new things.
Here both decks agree, drop "benefit from pain and pleasure" motif. Maybe time to fully grow into the shamanic work I've been fated into as a child but went astray due to traumatic life and no guidance through it.
2. How can I relieve my more critical energies this Full Moon? The Moon
Supports positive coordination between the emotion and the will. You find it easy to create a connection between yourself and the feelings of your surrounding world because you feel the harmony between conscious will and unconscious striving. Reality and dream are combined in mutually reflected moonlight.
I found it amusing that my relief "this Full Moon" was "The Moon" like "look towards the moon for healing."
3. What health and wellness area needs attention? Strength
This is the inconsiderate energy within you, because you like to push things around, often will only accept within yourself in the form of projections from those around you. Untamed female sensuality that prefers to see the male beneath her instead of beside her. Draws life from sexual power and surrender of pure lust.
Well-- after feeling a bit like a doormat for a bit, I have been getting aggressive like "I'll ask one time for something I need then f-it, I'll do it myself even if the action hurts me more than the emotion of needs not being met" sort of way. Perhaps this is telling me to find a balance between the "get it done" and "doormat."
4. What area in my life needs reorganizing? The Universe
The awakening of consciousness and self-perpetuating creative self, and the path bringing your desires into harmony with the divine spirit. Success in your projects. Loving connection with the Universe.
Yes I need to get my creative self reawakened, I've been trying to find a way to unblock it and feed energy back into the current of myself.
5. What needs to get done this Full Moon? The Star
You have an unquenchable longing to merge with the world around you, to which you convey a source of devotion to the source of unconsciousness. This card represents reality but also the view of things you created within your imagination. You have so many beautiful views for the future that you sometimes lose sight that your dreams are merely projections of your desires. Be careful not to entangle yourself in infantile delusions.
I suppose "be more pragmatic" is what this is warning, but at the same time the RWS says this card warns to fill your own energy source, not deplete yourself for the sake of others, practice self care... this is more along the lines of what I need to do.
