Tower

"No matter how beautiful or great you become you will return to the sand. Alas, you can rebuild better than before, if you desire to work hard enough."

Keeping with my Mesopotamian influenced art, I used Etemenanki for The Tower. Etemenanki is believed to be the historical Tower of Babel. It was a beautiful 300 ft ziggurat faced in copper bricks that stood in the city of Babylon for centuries. It was destroyed and restored a few times before facing its ultimate destruction under Alexander the Great. He ordered it destroyed in order to be rebuilt, but his death left the project uncompleted. The people ultimately gave up on the ziggurat.

This is a great building for The Tower because it was destroyed and rebuilt so many times, the foundation still remains in Iraq. The yods are still falling, all seems lost, but it can be rebuilt (sometimes greater than before) if you do not give up.
