New Moon- Various Decks
I am in a tarot group ran by Ethony and she sent a Moon Phase spread. She had asked for people to try it out. On Tues, the 29th, I decided to do it but using my various decks just to see what they each had to say and how close each were. This moon phase is going to be cranky:
So the spread goes like:
1. Moon Energies – what energies are abundant for me during this new moon phase?
2. Energy Assist – what can I do to aid or ease it?
3. Goals – what goals or challenges should I set for this moon phase?
4. Drift – what do I need to let go of from the last moon phase?
5. Advice – what advice do my spirit guides have for me for this moon phase?

2. What to do to assist/ease: Foolishness in conflict
3. Goals/Challenges to set: Successful end to conflict
4. To Let go of: Aggressively seeking communication
5. Advice: The conflicts must be dealt with.
Well it seems that there is a coming issue that will need to be dealt with, I don't know how being foolish about it will help or ease it in any way. But I see that watching my communication and resolution style is best right now in order to see the resolution to this.
Giger deck (most used for shadow readings due to its dark psyche meanings so I did the bi-layer meanings here)
1. Abundant Energies:
- I cannot proceed until my emotions are dealt with.
- "Solve et coagula" (dissolve and bind) philosophy is at play; making it easy for you to blend the physical and unconscious right now. Less action and more listening to you inner voice to find out when things are disharmonious are what you need right now so you can fix them.
2. What to do to assist/ease:
- Destiny has yet to be written; your next step determines your fate
- Insight into the part of the growth and decay cycle, and the cognition of your place. It attempts to help you correct your goals and restrict your excessive desires to keep a realistic approach. helps you see further but brings your expectations down to Earth
3. Goals/Challenges to set:
- You are on the wrong path; deceit
- Moon supports a positive coordination between the emotions and the Will. Indicates inner exploration of your emotions in the aura of your surrounding world. It can be an indication you are losing yourself in your emotional swamps. It also symbolizes emotional needs arising from depths (answer to the Mystery of Life and outgrowths of unstilled longings).
4. To Let go of:
- Need to balance your intuition with your brain; follow your gut but temper it with logic; a decision has to be made.
- This is the deep desire to connect with your unconscious and embodies the part of you that lies in dreams bringing dark insights. You are turning to creative forces of unconsciousness.
5. Advice:
- Where you feel there is no problem, there will be destruction.
- Radical change occurs where you've been clinging too tightly or striving for a false sense of security in a situation that ultimately turned to a prison. Breaking out of hopeless situations, dead values, and leads to experiences.
All the what?! Goal of Moon and advice of Tower? The last two times I've had Tower and Moon in readings it's been utter hell.
Ama-Tiamat's Oracle Deck (my WIP, and you thought Giger is a cranky deck...)
1. Abundant Energies: Expanding consciousness and knowledge beyond that which flesh inhibits. This is done in a painful way by a world ending deity, so this is nothing that is done without cost.
2. What to do to assist/ease: The one who controls the Tablets of Destiny holds all knowledge in the Universe and controls fate. This is to utilize my knowledge very carefully and wisely for the moon phase.
3. Goals/Challenges to set: This aspect of Ugallu sees here transforming into a vortex to tap into the chaos energy current (218, the Void) so that you may use it to shape your reality. When used in conjunction with the Tablets of Destiny, it can go a long way to righting any situation.
4. To Let go of: Lahamu is death, entropy, and vampirism of vitae and sexual energies. I have been very sick for months I have hope that this was just a sign of finally being released from the blasted infection. I release sickness!
5. Advice: Ama-Tiamat and Ada-Abzu are in the act of creation here. This is the moment of creation out of nothing, where they begat the first of the gods, humanity's creators, out of the Primal Void (her womb) and began life in this universe. They danced in the darkness and filled our universe with the first beings. They are also a warning to beware what you create as both were killed by their progeny, ultimately creating the Heavens and the Earth from their bodies.
